VB.NET
The .NET language inside UiPath workflows.
Why us on this
Expressions and custom logic in UiPath robots, where a built-in activity is not enough.
Where we have run it

Construction consortium · Europe · metro line build, 1,200+ people through its site gates
Timesheet Fraud Detection for a Metro Construction Consortium
Every clock-in stamped for an absent colleague is an hour paid for work nobody did, and with 61,000 time records a year nobody can spot it by eye. We built a UiPath robot that found the clock-ins too perfectly in sync to be honest and checked each one against 1.4 million site gate events. About 14% of the staff reviewed showed malicious clocking behaviour.

Regional government · Italy · managing authority for EU structural funds
EU Grant Expense Verification Automation for an Italian Region
Every EU-funded training project a region reimburses has to be checked line by line: registers against declared hours, trainers' CVs against their roles, every invoice against the expense report. Done by hand, the check is slow, varies between controllers, and the region carries the risk if EU auditors find what it missed. Now a robot builds the control file for each project, and the controller reviews evidence instead of copying it.
