Cookie policy

Effective from 10/12/2026

Last updated: 12 October 2026.

This policy lists the cookies and other browser storage this website uses. EMERANT LTD. (ЕМЕРАНТ ЕООД) is the controller; its details are in the privacy policy.

The short version

We store a few small items on your device to remember choices you make: your language and your region. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party scripts that set their own cookies. We do measure how the site is used, with a self-hosted analytics tool that sets no cookie of its own (see below). One feature is optional: a random ID that lets our analytics recognise your browser when you return, together with a visitor profile linked to it that includes your IP address. It is on by default, a short notice tells you about it on your first visit, and you can switch it off at any time with the settings at the top of this page.

What is stored

NameKindWhat it doesLifetimeSet when

emerant-locale-choiceCookieRecords that you made a language choice, so we do not ask again1 yearYou choose a language
emerant-regionCookieRemembers the region you selected1 yearYou select a region
emerant.locale-choiceLocal storageThe same language choice, kept in browser storage; the cookie above is the fallbackUntil you clear itYou choose a language
emerant_ts_passCookieSigned proof that your browser passed the bot check on the delivery bench password page, so it is not repeated on every visit (HttpOnly; it holds no personal data)30 daysYou unlock the page
emerant-consentCookieRemembers that we told you about the analytics ID below and whether you switched it off, so we do not show the notice again and do not recreate the ID13 monthsYour first visit, and when you change the setting
emerant-vidCookieA random ID that lets our analytics recognise your browser when you return and that links the visitor profile described below to your visits. On by default; switch it off in the settings at the top of this page, which deletes it at once13 months from creation, not extendedYour first visit, unless you have switched it off
emerant.visitorLocal storageDetails of your first visit (date, first page, referring website and campaign tags) and your visit count, kept for the analytics visitor profileUntil you switch the ID off (which deletes it) or clear your browser dataYour first visit, unless you have switched the ID off
emerant.bench.passwordLocal storageKeeps the delivery bench page unlocked on your device after you enter the access passwordUntil you sign out of that page or clear your browser dataYou unlock the page

All of these belong to this website (first-party), and none is shared with anyone else. None of them identifies you by name. emerant-vid and emerant.visitor are used for the analytics visitor profile described below.

Cookie rules and your choice

Rules on cookies (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, applied in Bulgaria through the Electronic Communications Act) require consent for cookies that are not needed to provide something you asked for. A saved language, a saved region and a page you unlocked yourself are exactly that: you asked for them, and the site cannot honour them without storing them. Our analytics on their own set no cookie and store no identifier on your device, so they need no consent either. The emerant-vid ID and the visitor profile (see below) are optional analytics. They are on by default and rest on our legitimate interest, and you can switch them off at any time with the settings at the top of this page. We tell you about them in a short notice on your first visit. Switching them off is as easy as leaving them on: it takes effect at once, deletes the ID and the emerant.visitor record from your device, and we remember your choice in emerant-consent so the ID is not created again.

Analytics and session replay

We measure visits with Umami, which we run ourselves on servers we control. Your browser sends analytics requests to this website's own address, and our server forwards them to Umami (analytics.ktsparks.net). On its own Umami sets no cookie, does not use local storage to recognise you, and does not store IP addresses. While the random emerant-vid ID is on, our server also adds your IP address to a visitor profile that is linked to the ID and sent once per visit. The profile holds details of your first visit, your visit count (both kept in local storage as emerant.visitor) and technical settings such as time zone, window size and language; the privacy policy lists them all. We use it to understand how visitors find and return to the site and to improve it, and we keep analytics data, including IP addresses, for up to 13 months. For a sample of visits, the session recorder also captures a replay of the page and your interactions with it; what you type is masked, and email addresses and phone numbers shown on the page are blocked. Replays are not linked to the ID. You can switch the ID off in the settings at the top of this page, which stops the profile and your IP address from being sent from then on, and you can object to the rest by writing to •••••@•••••••.•••. The privacy policy has the details and your rights.

What else happens when you visit

Like any website, our servers record the technical details of a request (IP address, browser, page, time) in logs, which we use for security and keep for up to 90 days. When you switch language, our analytics record an event with the language you switched to, and nothing else that identifies you, apart from the returning-visitor ID if it is on. The privacy policy explains the legal basis and your rights.

Third parties

This website does not embed advertising networks, social media widgets, maps or video players. The one exception is the bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the delivery bench password page, which loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com there and nowhere else. Fonts are served from our own domain. If you follow a link to another site or open one of our contact links (for example WhatsApp or Viber), that service applies its own cookie and privacy rules.

Managing and deleting them

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, and you can block them. The site keeps working, but it will ask for your language and region again.
